THEWPHAINGARM GROUP OF SCHOOLS Human Resources Assistant (Government Liaison) Key Responsibilities: The Human Resources Assistant (Government Liaison) at Thewphaingarm Group of Schools reports to the Head of Human Resources Department and works as part of the HR team. The team members liaise with the statutory authorities and government agencies in order to arrange teaching licenses, visas, and work permits for the staff of the schools. The Human Resources Assistant (Government Liaison) will: • Respond efficiently to inquiries from staff and government agencies regarding teaching licenses, visas, and work permits; • Prepare applications and relevant supporting documents for work permits and visas in accordance with government agencies' requirement; • Ensure full understanding of the latest rules and regulations concerning permits and visas as issued by the statutory authorities; • Accompany and represent staff members at the Immigration Bureau, Labour Department, and related organizations in applying for residence and work permits; • Ensure all legal requirements are completed in a timely manner; • Maintain and update database and folders of staff information including expiry dates of documents; • Ensure effective communication with other departments and members of staff ensuring sufficient notice and preparation is given before renewal deadlines fall; • Provide official documents for all Teaching License applications. • Coordinate with Immigration, Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Education and Teacher Council Office; • Check the valid date of visa and provide documentation for visa renewals, re-entry permits, and 90 days report stamp; • Organize and accompany staff for visa renewals at the Immigration Office; • Ensure the completion of all relevant visa, work permits, teaching licenses, and other related documents and also ensure that they are received within the time limit set by the government. • Prepare applications and relevant supporting documents for the CIST/CHP students' visas to Canada. • Assist in other administrative functions as assigned by the supervisor.

• Male/Female age 25+, Thai Nationality only;
 
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification;
 
• At least 3-5 year experience in Visa and Work Permit background will be a plus;
 
• Be flexible in their approach to work and enjoy working as part of a team;
 
• Possess effective communication with good command of English in both speaking and writing;
 
• Be professional, neat, and presentable in their personal appearance;
 
• Able to work independently and have a high responsibility for the jobs being assigned;
 
• Able to work under pressure and to meet the deadline;
 
• Attention to details, problems solving, decision making, strong schedule planning and follow up skills;
 
• Good service-minded and inter-personal skill;
 
• Have good interpersonal skills and be proactive and adaptable;
 
• Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
 
• Be able to prioritize workloads and be able to work effectively in a busy environment;
